Our Story

Proof of Life Nostalgia grew out of my lifelong connection to live music and music memorabilia.

For more than 45 years, concerts provided me with unforgettable memories — along with ticket stubs, photographs, handwritten setlists, and the occasional poster or t-shirt.

Before the internet, discovering upcoming shows meant picking up the latest alternative weekly newspaper and scanning the concert listings to decide where your next concert would be.

Original concert posters eventually became prohibitively expensive, which led me back to the old music newspapers and magazines I had saved over the years. Looking through them again, I realized the concert ads themselves carried the same excitement and emotional connection as the shows they promoted.

That experience inspired me to begin collecting and sharing these original ads with fellow music fans and collectors.
